Signing in — email codes and passkeys
How sign-in works: one-time email codes, magic links, and adding a passkey.
No passwords — ever
There is nothing to remember (or leak): you sign in with your email address alone. Enter it on the sign-in page, accept the privacy policy and terms, and press Email me a sign-in code. Within a minute you’ll receive an email containing a 6-digit code and a sign-in link — either one finishes the job.
Option A — type the 6-digit code
Back on the sign-in page, type the code from the newest email and press Sign in. Codes are single-use and expire after 10 minutes; if yours has expired, press Resend code and use the freshest one. Requested several? Only the most recent code is valid.
Option B — click the link, then “Complete sign-in”
The email link opens a page with a single Complete sign-in button. That extra click is deliberate: corporate email scanners “visit” links automatically, and without the button they would consume your single-use link before you could. Links expire after 15 minutes; if yours has, just request a new one — nothing is lost.
What about passkeys?
Passkeys here are an extra security layer for course-creator accounts, not a sign-in method: admins can register one under Admin → Security, after which sensitive actions (refunds, credential changes) ask for a fingerprint/Face ID confirmation. Learners don’t need one — the email code is the whole flow. See Security — passkeys & step-up.
