Didn't get the sign-in email?
Spam folders, corporate quarantine, and requesting a fresh code.
1 · Check your spam or junk folder
Search your mailbox — including Spam / Junk — for “sign-in code”. The subject line starts with the six digits themselves, like “123456 is your … sign-in code”. If it’s there, mark it as “Not spam” so the next one lands in your inbox.
2 · Using a work email? It may be quarantined
Company email systems often hold new senders in a security quarantine before the message ever reaches your mailbox — so it won’t appear in your inbox or junk folder.
- Microsoft 365 / Outlook: open security.microsoft.com/quarantine with your work account, find the “… sign-in code” message, and choose Release. If the list is empty, your IT team may need to release it — ask them to allow emails from the sending address shown on the message.
- Google Workspace / Gmail: check Spam first; if it’s not there, your admin may be holding it in the admin quarantine.
Asking IT to allow the sender fixes this permanently for everyone in your organization.
3 · Request a fresh code
Sign-in codes are single-use and expire after 10 minutes, so once you’ve found (or released) the email, the code may have expired — just head back and request a new one, then type the 6-digit code from the newest email on the sign-in page.
4 · Still nothing?
Double-check the email address you entered, try again in a minute or two, or contact the team that gave you access to this course platform — they can confirm the right email address for your account.
